Ivana Baquero to Attend the 40th Goya Awards in Barcelona

Ivana Baquero will once again step on the red carpet of the Goya Awards, as she has been confirmed among the distinguished guests at the 40th edition of the Goya Awards, Spain’s most prestigious film ceremony, taking place on February 28 at the Auditori Fòrum – CCIB in Barcelona.


The milestone edition of the awards will gather more than 60 leading professionals from Spanish cinema, with many of the industry’s most recognizable names presenting the coveted Goya statuettes. Ivana Baquero joins an impressive lineup of actresses set to take the stage, including Rossy de Palma, Laia Costa, Nathalie Poza, Natalia de Molina, Victoria Luengo, Irene Escolar, Loles León, Karla Sofía Gascón, Anna Castillo, Clara Segura, Silvia Abril, Leonor Watling, Michelle Jenner, Amaia Romero, Toni Acosta, and many others.



This year’s ceremony will be hosted by acclaimed actor Luis Tosar and singer Rigoberta Bandini, under the direction of Ángel Custodio and Tinet Rubira (Gestmusic Banijay Iberia). The gala will be broadcast live on La 1 de TVE beginning at 10:00 p.m., with extensive red carpet coverage starting at 7:15 p.m.


During the evening, thirty Goya Awards will be presented, including the Goya de Honor to filmmaker Gonzalo Suárez and the International Goya Award to Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon.


With Barcelona serving as host city and a strong presence of Catalan talent throughout the ceremony, this landmark edition promises to be a celebration of creativity, excellence, and the enduring strength of Spanish cinema.
